In addition to enhancing the technology, VertuoLine has also increased the number of reusable capsules they sell and introduced a more sustainable packaging system. They currently use 80% recycled aluminum for their coffee capsules, and they are determined to increase the percentage of recycled and low carbon virgin aluminum in future products.

5. CitiZ

This sleek espresso maker from Nespresso takes up less counter space than similar models. It comes with a fold-away tray that can accommodate larger mugs and glasses for recipes. This is a great option for kitchens with smaller spaces and makes it much easier to use the machine with taller recipes. It's also simple to recreate cafe favorites thanks to the extraction system of 19 bars and fast heat-up time.

The basic CitiZ does not come with the milk frother, but you can purchase one separately or purchase it as part of the CitiZ&Milk bundle. This bundle also comes with the Aeroccino milk-steamer, which means you can make delicious cappuccinos and creamy lattes. Another excellent feature of the Gran Lattissima is its energy-saving function and quick heat-up time. It has a large 44 oz reservoir of water, and takes just 25 seconds to warm up. The drip tray and froth container are easily removed for cleaning. It's also simple to keep your machine in good condition by completing regular descaling cycles and automated cleaning cycles.
